I waited for you to come

Due to arrive at any time

Somewhat paralyzed
Afraid to live without you
And yet I knew you not
I waited for the sun
To shine upon my flesh
That had grown so cold
Longing for your touch
I waited armed with a dream
That burned secretly within
The many chambers of my heart
